Wil-TTT (Wil-Trans Train the Trainer)

Wil-Trans TTT course is designed to give experienced Wil-Trans drivers the information, knowledge, and support so they will be able to mentor Wil-Trans new apprentices to be a knowledgeable, productive and safe business owners in the transportation industry. 

During Wil-TTT classes we will look at conflict resolution, course out line, forms used, record keeping, personality types, learning types, hours of service issues, and defensive driving concepts and how to successfully communicate these to the apprentice. 

Wil-TTT is a 2-day course that is generally offered on Thursday and Friday of each week.

Wil-Trans is looking for qualified Trainers … Check to see if you qualify;  here are the requirements:

  1. A satisfactory driver for Wil-Trans for a minimum of 1 year

    • Prior training experience could be substituted for time at Wil-Trans

  2. Possession of an unrestricted national Commercial Drivers License

  3. A satisfactory driving record for five years

    • No more than one rule-of-the-road citation per year and no preventable accidents

    • Never convicted of driving with drugs or alcohol or a felony involving the use of a truck.

  4. Complete company training for Driver Finishers based on ITCC/PTDIA “Train the Trainer” course or similar training program

  5. An ability to get along with people and communicate well

  6. Proficient at building customer relationships representing Wil-Trans

  7. Presents an acceptable appearance and demeanor as a Wil-Trans  representative

  8. Proper attitude toward training and Wil-Trans

  9. Profitable Operator

  10. Minimum 2 years OTR experience

  11. Defensive Driving Course Completed at Wil-Trans
